About Robert E. Harvey, IV
Robert E. Harvey, IV is the founder of Robert Harvey & Associates,
P.C., a law firm comprised of an experienced legal team providing representation for all areas of real estate from initial contract negotiations to the closing table, as well as providing title examinations {Drilling, Acquisition and Division Order title opinions} along with due diligence for both major and independent oil and gas clients. Robby has been active in the field of real estate title services and associated legal services for over 25 years. Robby was raised in Nixon, Texas, and he and his family have made La Vernia their home for over 20 years. He graduated from Texas A&M in 1993 with honors (Cum Laude) earning a degree in Agriculture Economics and achieved his Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from St. Mary’s University School of Law in 1996. The main focus of his legal career has been in the area of Real Estate Law (Residential, Commercial, Farm and Ranch) and Oil, Gas and Mineral Law. In 2000, Robby co-founded Title Express, Inc. and his commitment to excellence and client satisfaction has made Title Express, Inc. a trusted name in the title insurance industry. Robby is a founding board member of the La Vernia Education Foundation and enjoys supporting local community organizations and events. He and his wife Patricia Harvey, are Texas A&M football season ticket holders and 12th Man Foundation Eppright Distinguished Donors. They have two children, a daughter Bailey Breann Harvey, and a son Robert Cook Harvey.
About Edwin V. Allen, Jr.
Ed Allen graduated from the United States Military Academy in 1989 (B.S.) and served as an Army officer in Fort Bliss, Texas and Berlin, Germany. He achieved his Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from St. Mary’s University School of Law in 1995. At St. Mary’s, Ed was an Associate Editor of the St. Mary’s Law Journal. After serving as an Assistant City Attorney for the City of Abilene, he joined the law firm of Richard W. Foster, Jr. ( which later merged into Foster & Harvey, P.C.) in 1997 as a title attorney. Ed continued with the firm into its transition to Robert Harvey & Associates, P.C. and has rendered thousands of complex title opinions throughout his tenure with the firm. He enjoys golf, skiing and international travel with his wife, Misty.
